This was a shocking news to hear. In my opinion he does not deserve a Nobel Peace prize so soon. The standards of this commitee have fallen so low that they are now giving out the award based on an anticipation that he will do something in the future.

I don’t think Obama deserves a noble prize because to date he did not achieve anything that is quantifiable and the change he talks about in my view is too dramatic to happen immediately. And after all the great things he talks about, his government decided it is not going to investigate anyone related to Guantanamo bay for the violation of human rights and so called no torture policy of United States of America isn’t that called double standards. So how is he any different from Mr. George Bush.

I dont believe in ANY of Obamas views and he says he is going to change everyhting but really what all has he changed for us. When he talks about pulling our troops out of the war that is just going to make things worse on so many levels, we are in that war to help people and to make a DIFFERENCE, so if he was to pull the troops out that would not be making a difference. Plus if we help them later on in life they will help us, you have to think about the cause and effects on things. He also talks about legalizing things that we reaaly dont need unless it is for medical reasons. SO NO i strongly think he does not deserve the peace award.
